Description

The SN54L/74LS166 is an 8-Bit Shift Register. The 74166 is a parallel-in or serial-in, serial-out shift register and has a complexity of 77 equivalent gates with gated clock inputs and an overriding clear input. The parallel-in or serial-in modes are established by the shift/load input. The 74LS166 IC has a wide range of working voltage, a wide range of working conditions, and directly interfaces with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL. The output of the IC always comes in TTL which makes it easy to work with other TTL devices and microcontrollers.
